Elf on the Shelf from all of the Kindergarten Classrooms

We are trying to take advantage of the snow days to update the blog and show you some of our December fun.  In this post we want to show you some of the fun places our Elves hid last month.  Unfortunately they had to return to the North Pole after school let out for break.  We hope you will enjoy sharing these photos with your child.  You can use these as writing prompts or to get your child to use more vocabulary and descriptive words while they tell you about their elves adventures!  Some of the classrooms also used a daily Elf journal to help the students document where they found their Elf each day.  They really enjoyed this project and it helped them understand that writing can be used to document things they observe!

Turkeys

Sorry it took so long to get this post up but with 120 students (give or take a few) that is a lot of turkeys to take pictures of, edit and upload.  We wanted to share some pictures from each classroom of the clever Disguise a Turkey November Family Project.  Thank you for helping your child create a wonderful character!  You will be getting your turkeys back in time for the Christmas/Winter holiday meal!  They may want to keep the disguise on until spring!
